Image processing


The Image Processing Platform is responsible for the two- and three-dimensional processing of data generated by histology or imaging in vivo and for the quantitative and statistical analysis of results.

It also provides research teams with expert advice and methodological support. Its material infrastructure is optimized for preclinical research in terms of data acquisition, flow, storage/back-up and means of calculation.

The platform includes

  • a high-resolution scanner and 
  • an optical bank with an acquisition system and 
  • image analysis softwares (MCID)
  • software tools for image processing (BrainVISA, BrainRAT, Anatomist, SPM etc.), 

In order to simultaneously exploit multimodal data acquired in vivo (MRI, PET, CT) and/or ex vivo (histology, immunohistochemistry, autoradiography).
