Position open for a Research Scientist 
at the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Radiobiology (iRCM)

The Institute of Cellular and Molecular Radiobiology (iRCM) is recruiting a Research Scientist in the large field of radiobiology, including DNA repair and chromosome biology, germ cells, somatic stem cells of various organs and tissues (blood, brain, skin), and cancer. The successful candidate is expected to initially join one of the existing laboratories in order to develop an innovative, independent research project in any area linked to radiobiology, with the potential of establishing an independent research group.

The iRCM, a department within the François Jacob Institute of Biology, provides an excellent scientific environment with over 150 staff members in 15 laboratories affiliated to the CEA, Inserm, Université Paris Cité and Université Paris-Saclay and state-of-the-art facilities for light microscopy, animal experimentation (including an immunodeficient mouse platform), cytogenetic, cytometry and cell sorting, irradiation, genetic engineering and protein biochemistry.

The Institute is located at the CEA center of Fontenay-aux-Roses, 10 km from the historical centre of Paris, with easy access through public transportation.

Applicants should provide a motivation letter, a full CV including a list of publications and grants obtained, a summary of scientific achievements (2 pages), a proposed research program (3-5 pages) and 3 reference letters.
