Normal and Pathological Immune Memory Laboratory (LMNP)

The laboratory "Normal and Pathological Immune Memory" (LMNP) develops mouse models to study the mechanisms by which CD8 memory precursors are generated and matured into subsets of very functional memory T cells.

This includes the memory cells residing in the tissues, as well as their long-term persistence. The study of molecular signals sequentially emitted by different sub-populations of T-CD4 cells all-along the process of differentiation of T-CD8 memory cells. Studies of mouse models and data from human cohorts are designed to study the mechanisms underlying the generation and maintenance of T-CD8 memory cells in the context of chronic human viral infections and their relationship with viral persistence.
